PRE-REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT IS MANDATORY. REGISTRATION CLOSES FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 21st AT 10PM. THERE WILL BE NO REGISTRATION AFTER THIS TIME.
We are limited to 175 racers and anticipate selling out, so don’t wait until the last second to register or you will likely miss out.
Cycling BC insurance is required. If you have an annual license you must show proof of insurance at check in. A one day licence is available ($10 for adults, $5 for 18 yrs and under, $0 for racers in the Youth category). PLEASE BRING CASH TO CHECK IN ON RACE DAY (there will be no debit or credit available for insurance). If you are a UROC member your membership provides the necessary insurance (one more reason to become a UROC member) – Memberships are available here: https://ccnbikes.com/#!/events/uroc-2018-membership.
THE COURSE:
Stage 1: Furtherburger
Stage 2: Numbskulls, Gravity, Lower DCDH/Shock Therapy/DCDH.
Stage 3: Roughneck (aka Daddy Duxbury)
Stage 4: Vanilla, Shortline, Teapot, Dam Trail
Stage 5: Found Link, Lost and Found
Youth will do stage 5
Beginners will do stages 4 & 5
Intermediates will do stages 1, 3, 4, 5
Experts will do stages 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.
Start/Finish markers will be posted on Thursday Sept 6th. Preriding is strongly recommended.
There will be a feed station with some basic items (limited water and food), but RIDERS MUST BE SELF SUFFICIENT. The Expert course is 32km with approx 1200m of climbing and riders should be prepared to be on course for 3-5 hours.
