The Gravity Nines saw 112 entries this year with nearly 100% of you completing the event and over half of all entries doing the 9in1 challenge. That’s over 45kms of riding and 1700m of climbing riding double black diamond and black diamond trails. Conditions were dry and dusty contrary to last year which was wet and wild for most of the event. The route took on some of Cumberland’s most testing gravity trails and we were delighted to see a whole range of riders meet the challenge.
A special mention goes out to our youngest achiever clocking in at 10 years old and completing the whole challenge twice including the 9in1 challenge.
So, who won we hear you say?
This year’s Grand prize is a Gold Ski Season pass sponsored by Mount Washington Alpine resort and the draw winner goes to trail forks name JasDawn. For those of you who achieved that extra level of punishment by doing the 9in1 challenge the winner’s prize is also sponsored by Mount Washington resort where we’re going to give you a day on the chairlift with two Bike Park day passes for the 2023 bike season. The winner of that challenge is trail forks name justinwaddell. Congratulations to JasDawn and justinwaddell and congratulations to all the entries for the Gravity Nines 2022.
Thank you for supporting UROC and we’ll see you again next year with some new and exciting additions featuring in the Gravity Nines and 9in1 Challenge.
