Virtual Challenge
Experience the EPIC 979 and all 4 of it’s endings. Receive a badge for each EPIC 979 route, and a badge for completing the full EPIC 979 Challenge.
Runs June 6th through October
The UROC EPIC 979 Challenge is presented by UROC and supported by Mosaic Forest Management and the local Comox Valley bike stores. The Challenge runs June through October (weather permitting). All riders who complete each Challenge within the timeframe and record the ride/s on Trail forks will be entered into the prize draw. Share your ride/s using the hashtag #cumberlandEPIC
Step 1:
Sign up for challenge to be in it to win it – you must be a UROC member to enter.
Complete all 4x Epic’s this year before the end of October and be in the draw to win an exclusive UROC / Mosaic riding shirt and the Epic 979 sticker collection.
Step 2:
Ride each route during the date window. Be sure to record your ride using the Trail Forks app and collect the challenge badge.

Step 3:
Feel good about supporting the trails and the United Riders of Cumberland. Enjoy the ride.
