After School Programs

After School Bike Club

UROC, along with the Cumberland Community School Society, hosts an After School Bike Club. In spring of each year, this free program will run Wednesdays and Thursdays for 6 weeks with many youth participating. Loaner bikes are available to ensure more youths get a chance to participate.

After School Ride-Dig-Ride

UROC, along with the Cumberland Community School Society, hosts an After Ride-Dig-Ride. In spring and fall of each year, this free program will run on Wednesdays afternoons for 4/6 weeks during both of those seasons. There is an open group and a girls only group lead by one female trail crew member and a qualified volunteer. In groups of 6-8 youth participating and lead by qualified trail crew members this program is always a fun time. In recent years some kids have gone on to secure paid positions working in the trail crew. All tools are provided to ensure all youths get a chance to participate.
