UROC Trail Crew (Seasonal Positions)
The United Riders of Cumberland is seeking applications for two seasonal trail crew positions to work on a variety of trail maintenance projects (drainage, structure maintenance, brushing etc.) throughout the Cumberland trail network. This position will total 450 hours from May through December. Successful applicants will coordinate work schedules and priorities with the UROC trail manager. Barring forest closure for fire danger, crew members will be expected to work a minimum of 10 hours per week with the majority of work to be completed between June 15 and October 31.
Trailhead Signage Project – Invitation to Quote
The United Riders of Cumberland (UROC) are planning to engage the services of a Contractor to implement a Trailhead Signage Project in the Cumberland trail network. The project scope includes the installation of approximately 186 trailhead sign posts that will mark the start and end of each trail. Interested bidders are encouraged to download the Invitation to Quote (ITQ) package here and are responsible for checking this webpage to download any additional addenda documents.
Closing date for receiving bids is 3:00pm on Tuesday May 23. Projected timeline for work completion is July 31 (may change due to environmental factors).
